Staying in motion is my number one motivator for living a happy life. It's currently been challenging through a few injuries and accidents I'm dealing with, but so far managing to stay consistent. It's funny. Lately it's been a battle, but when I don't do it the effects are apparent within a couple days. I can barely last three days without moving (meaning time dedicated to exercising)... and as my husband can attest to, I'm not a happy camper. Nice article!

Great post. I'm 63 and not slowing down today, thank you. Off to walk!

Happy Birthday Jennifer! I'm 63 too, and I also walked this morning. Move more. Sit less works wonders. Thank you for reading and commenting on my post. I hope you have a magnificent birthday!

Been 63 awhile and I keep moving every day, which is hard for a book editor. Next one is the Beatles birthday in May!

I misread your comment and thought today was your birthday. Happy day in any event! It is hard to get up and move when you have a sit down kind of job. I often get so engrossed in what I'm doing, that I can go hours without getting up from my chair. I try to get up every hour at least and walk around, but sometimes I don't want to break the flow. All we can do is our best!
