Great read AND listen, Daria! I enjoyed listening to you as I scanned as you spoke.

(You still sound fine at 1.5 speed, BTW 😊. I listen like that)

Thank you for the remedy exercises. Head-down phone pecking has become my albatross. Now I can fix that!

I subbed and am following.

This is so good to know, Daria! I am about to get up from my computer and find a wall to determine if I have FHP, but I suspect I do partially because I am guilty of many of the things you mentioned. I appreciate the correction and further prevention items you've listed.

I also have some bad posture computer habits. Being aware of them and doing some of these stretches and exercises is a step in the right direction.

I often give standing against a wall as a treatment for my students and patients with poor posture. Having good posture is so important for overall health, and poor posture causes a lot of physical pain for people. A huge percentage of pain would disappear if you focus on having vertical posture.

I always try to think mountain pose! Your tip to do that when walking has made a big difference for me. Thanks for your support, Janine.

I'm so glad! It's Mountain pose against a wall basically. I like the wall because it gives feedback and you know where your body is in space.

Cell phones are the biggest problem here! We tilt our heads forward so many times daily and we stay in that position, with time, this anomaly can develop.

Agreed. I'm looking down at my phone as I respond to you, and I was looking down at my phone to read my email. If we're aware and are proactive with stretching and strengthening our neck muscles, I believe we can avert the worst of it.
