I tried the gratitude meditation you recommended. It works for me. I have a hard time sitting still and not ruminating. This is a healthy start for me, thanks!
I’m so happy to hear you found it helpful. I have the same problem. My brain just won’t settle. My post this week is about mindfulness. At least I recognize some of the things I need to work on! I also really make an effort to walk the walk the talk. So when I write about something, I make a point to practice what I write about and recommend.
I'm learning to work on things I simply don't want to do. But now I have myself in a situation that must be tended to, and if I don't it'll probably become a chronic issue, and it's all from overtraining. I love working out but I'm older now and things must be modified in order for me to stay moving. I'm starting with more meditation (I absolutely can't stand it) to calm my mind for starters.
