Hello Daria! All great advice but I especially love how you included laugh! My husband had a similar experience to Mary Jane's. He got his cholesterol levels down half way to normal in 4 months. Do you think the doctor was supportive of the lifestyle changes and encouraged my husband to continue for another 4 months or so? Of course not! What is wrong with these doctors? Thanks for this post! I've subscribed and am looking forward to more wise advice!
Thank you for subscribing Cherie, and thank you for commenting on my post. I was watching a Seinfeld the other night, and I was laughing so hard (I'm a huge Seinfeld fan). It feels so good to laugh, and it's totally free. My philosophy is do what you can to live well longer, but don't torture yourself doing it. Heck, at this stage in my life, who knows what's in store. I want to be healthy and happy. I look forward to writing more. Thanks again for your subscription and engagement.
I can find a Seinfeld reference in almost any situation. I almost put something in the post about Elaine having a black mark in her medical record as being difficult, but I wasn't sure how many people would get it. I can quote lines from various episodes. I discovered @csteefel in @sarahfay Friday Thread. In her About section, she says she was a guest on Seinfeld twice. I want her autograph! :)
I wholeheartedly agree ...... laughter is the best medicine
You can't feel anything but good when you're laughing, and it carries over even when you stop.
